These include range of text types drawn from prose fiction, drama,non-fiction, film, cartoons and multi-media. They are examined with a focus on the way composers can manipulate language and stylistic techniques to shape meaning, perceptions and understanding.
Textual content, purpose and register are explored in order to help students analyse, question, interpret and articulate their understanding of the relationship between composer and responder.
